Typing Skills Are Important For Your Productivity

Everyone wants to improve productivity when it comes to their business. I think we all realize that we make more money when we get more stuff done. However this is easier said than done.

Everybody has certain skills that they are good at, certain activities that they are drawn to. Doesn't it make sense then that one should focus his attention on what he likes to do? Doesn't it make sense that you should do what you enjoy, especially when the other option is to do something that you don't?

Turn your mobile phone off while you are at work, where possible. If you use your mobile phone for work purposes, try setting it to silent or vibrate only, or even turn it off for an hour or two while you are busy, in order to concentrate better on the task at hand. Also, if your productivity is down, your employer will not be pleased if he or she knows that you are constantly being interrupted at work by your mobile phone.

For the improving productivity longest time I struggled with this concept. Whenever I was faced with an empty few minutes, I'd try to "do" the down-time thing. I'd settle into a comfortably relaxed cross-legged position and meditate. But then my meditating became yet another thing I had to do "right" -- every single day, for thirty minutes, with correct posture, proper breathing, no exceptions.

Checking email must have a deadline attached to it. Writing a blog post must have a deadline attached to it. Setting up a website must have a deadline attached to it. Writing a sales letter must have a deadline attached to it.

You will improve your planning if you plan each day the evening before. Never write a "to do list" that contains more than five items. Put these items in priority of doing the worst one first. This means every time you complete a task, the next one will be more enjoyable. This little tactic will motivate you go here to achieve more.
